TOWN OF COLUMBIA FALLS, MAINE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO 30-A M.R.S.A. §§ 4352(9), 4403(2)
The Planning Board of the Town of Columbia Falls will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 27th at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of accepting public comments on a proposed Code of Ordinance on Town Street Lights. The in-person hearing will be held in the Columbia Falls Town Office, 8 Point Street, Columbia Falls, Maine. Pursuant to the Town's remote participation policy, persons may attend and participate in the public hearing remotely by requesting a virtual meeting link from the Town Clerk, and disabled persons may request necessary accommodation to access the public hearing by contacting the Town Clerk, at (207) 483-4067 or townofcolumbiafalls@gmail.com no later than noon on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025. Public comments may also be submitted in writing, addressed to the Columbia Falls Planning Board and delivered to the Town Office prior to the public hearing. The proposed Code of Ordinances is available for viewing at the Town Office during regular business hours.
Beginning on June 3, 2024, registrants who would like to keep their current chickadee plate numbers may reserve their plate number for a $25 one-time fee. This includes people with vanity, low digit, and National Guard (PC class code) plates or registrants who simply like their current plate number.
